My journey from Tank Seat to Driver Seat


From cartoons to news channels
From comics, to editorial
From having a large friend circle, to having a small meaningful friend circle
From pedalling the bicycle faster, to enjoying the slow ride on a motorcycle
From ‘punishment’ being a matter of pain, to becoming a matter of pride
From enjoying the holidays in between the working days, to getting emotional on the farewell day
From having crush on Emma Watson, to search for true love
From a frightened kid to cross the coach on a train, to a global trotter
·          From riding the bike by sitting on tank seat , to riding it by sitting on the driver seat
From the struggle of being possessive, to joy of selfless sharing
From maturely acting innocent kid, to innocently behaving mature adult
From demand of getting expensive gifts, to hope to get affectionate gifts
From receiving reprimand for low scores from mom, to receiving applaud on first big achievement
No matter whatever changes certain things doesn’t change
such as mother’s love, father’s care, and Teacher’s blessings
Somewhere between enjoying the present and worrying about the future
 we all lost our childhood
I miss my childhood, do you?

This is not about Martin Luther King's dream ,it is my dream I have a dream to be an Indian in India I was in my home,  I was known by my name I stepped out of my home,  I was known by my last name I stepped out of my street,  I was known by my caste I stepped out of my locality,  I was known by my religion I stepped out of my city,  I was known by my language I stepped out of my State,  I was known by my region only when I stepped out of my country I was known as an Indian may be I need to step out of the planet to be known as a Human Being Our mighty diversified country is only united on the cover page of our constitution called preamble by using a very good vocabulary of words such as equality, fraternity, secular ,etc. But has divided us in every way possible throughout the book.
